App Information
App Name: Medicine Intake Tracker

Your medication data is stored on your device by default. Cloud sync to Google Drive is optional and requires your explicit permission.
1. What Data We Collect
The app stores the following information to help you track medications:
- Medication names, dosages, and schedules you enter
- Intake history (when you took medications)
- User profile names for tracking multiple people
- App settings and notification preferences
We do NOT collect: Location data, device identifiers, analytics, personal details beyond what you enter, or health condition information beyond medication names.
2. How We Store Your Data
Local Storage (Default)
All your medication data is stored locally on your device using SQLite database. This data remains on your device and never leaves unless you enable cloud sync.
Cloud Storage (Optional)
You can optionally enable Google Drive sync to:
- Back up your medication data
- Sync between multiple devices
- Share medication profiles with family members
Important:
- Cloud sync is disabled by default
- You must sign in with Google to enable it
- No app-level encryption is applied before uploading to Google Drive
- Data travels over secure HTTPS connections
- You can disable sync or delete cloud data anytime
When you enable cloud sync, your data is stored in your Google Drive account. Google's privacy practices apply to this data. Review Google's privacy policy for details.
3. Permissions
The app requests only essential permissions:
- Notifications: To send medication reminders
- Storage: To save your local medication data
- Internet (optional): Only for cloud sync and Google sign-in
4. Third-Party Services
Google Services (Optional):
- Google Sign-in: For optional authentication
- Google Drive API: For optional data synchronization
We do NOT use: Advertising networks, analytics services, or any other third-party services.
5. Your Control & Rights
- You own all your medication data
- You can delete any entry, profile, or all data anytime
- You can enable/disable cloud sync anytime
- You can revoke Google Drive access from your Google Account settings
- The app is safe for all ages (COPPA compliant)
6. Security
- Local data is protected by your device's security (use a lock screen)
- Cloud data uses HTTPS for secure transmission
- We never access your Google credentials
- Google's security practices protect your cloud-stored data
7. Data Retention
- Local Data: Remains until you delete it or uninstall the app
- Cloud Data: Remains in your Google Drive until you disable sync and delete it
- No Automatic Deletion: We don't delete your data
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy with notice. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
